+ Sing My Name (Gloria — Mando Diao) +

        Las canciones con nombre de mujer siempre me han parecido tan emocionales y tiernas que, a veces, me pregunto para cuándo una con el mío; aunque no estoy totalmente segura de sus posibilidades musicales, todo sea dicho. Por eso, y de momento, me quedo con ésta; con un vídeo tan a lo anuncio de Martini meets peli retro de Bond y una Gloria tan fantásticamente Brigitte Bardot.

        Gloria es el nuevo single de Give Me Fire, el más reciente álbum del grupo sueco Mando Diao (nombre que puede recordar a Manu Chao, pero nada que ver) lleno de ese pop rock tan bien ejecutado, tan sutil y elegantemente nórdico.

       I have always thought songs with women’s names were so especially emotional and tender that, sometimes, I even wonder when will I listen to one with mine; though I am not pretty sure of its musical possibilities, I must confess. That is why, at least by now, I am going to keep on listening to this one; with that amazing Martini-ad-meets-retro-Bond-film video and with that Gloria so Brigitte Bardot(ish).
